This is why I went 2h/polearm hybrid and always carry both a Great Long Axe and a Heavy bastard sword. Always be prepared.

This would be amazing. To stop it ruining the days of 2h though, it should only remove one hand at a time, thus you don't have to go hunting your sword every two seconds. (1hand with no shield should also get two hits in a period of time before they drop the sword).

It would also be great against those guys who just hide behind their shields all day long too.

Additionally, it would make archers choose if they want to go for an armoured head, or a much less armoured hand.
