Got pretty unlucky between the moment i deleted the STF and realised that i also deleted the name from my account.

But it's a bit weird because the name of my crpg account is lactose the intolerant, my forum nick is lactose the intolerant, but someone else uses it in game  I even got the world of tanks lactose the intolerant nick  ( i know it isnt the best name for tanking ^^ )

Don't see why the other guy gets punished or w/e. If the name is valid, and someone wants it, why not? This is why i don't delete car's unless they REALLY aren't needed.

yes, but you would know that if you actually read the op. Did i say anywhere he was to get punished? i would like to know if would be possible to retrieve it and to warn the poeple that know me that if they meet a lactose the intolerant on the battlefield, it is not me anymore.

I had it as an alt since december 2010 and i would play it often, i used it as a STF. Didnt like it, so in order to make a new STF, you have to delete. But i didnt realise that i would delete the name from my account. but it was already too late...

In no way i said it was "stolen" from me, but that you would have understood if you read from the beggining, I wish to know if he would be nice enough to let me take it back again, i would be very thankful

We do not have a rule that prevents this in any way except maybe griefing.
PMed the dude and will see what happens, maybe he realizes that it's just a lame move or he actually wanted that name and got lucky, who knows.

This was peacefully resolved btw.

The dude was just playing PW mod with this nick and didn't switch it when he joined a crpg server.

While playing Persistent world, a guy had the same name as you so I asked him if he was the same as the one in cRPG and he told me that he wasn't, he just liked the name so started using it, it's probably the same guy you're talking about and started cRPG? Who knows.
