War of the Roses video was amazing, definitely want to play. Want to alpha/beta test even. It has the same publisher as M&B, Paradox, but it lists Fatshark as the developer, not TaleWorlds. I don't think they'd branch off a new company, I think this is some serious competition to Mount & Blade 2.

Do you think they will switch engines...? I sure hope the textures aren't improved that much because my comp only runs warband at about 40 fps on plains and 20 or 25 in towns. D:

M&B2 will look much better than Warband, and it will work even on your old Gameboy. Yep, they are magical unicorn wizards!

i have a desktop with intel pentium IV 3.02 Ghz, GeForce 9600gt 512 mb, 2 gb ram and 17'' screen and i am ALSO stuck to that crap ... what a misery am I :/ tried to buy new procesor but i cant without replacing mainboard and power suply, and maybe the case for pc cuz this one is too small and hot inside, which means its cheaper to me to buy 2nd pc than upgrade mine. if only i got that cash to buy it

good laptops are not that expensive, buy a new acer lapptop, they are cheap, relaiable and powerfull for what you pay. you can get acer that will play warband on 100+ fps on highest settings for around 530 euros (in your country it is probably quite cheaper)

Don't buy fucking Acer. Fucking shit computers. I bought 2 "gaming laptops" for me and my brother, I paid like 1400€ per computer. Mine motherboard broke after 3 months, my brothers broke after 5 months. Also my BOTH fucking harddrives broke down 2 weeks after the warranty repair of the motherboard. My brothers keyboard smelted cause the computer was getting too hot... Also my friend used to have one of those cheaper Acers, and surprise surprise, his motherboard broke down after 1 month or so, then 4 months after the warranty repair it broke down again. Really fucking good computers homie, ain't playin' and shit... One advice, if you don't REALL need laptop (if  you don't need it carry it with you daily cause of work or something) don't get laptop, but even in that case DON'T get ACER. There's no point in buying laptop, when you get MUCH more powerful desktop for LESS cash. Also don't buy those package computers, they are shit and too fucking expensive always. Best way is to pick the parts by yourself and put it together by yourself. If you don't know shit about computers you can ask around in one of those nerd forums for a good setup for your budget.
