Works mostly with the new patch but the voice commands are wrong. Anyone up for fixing that?  8-)

after devs taking an entire year to implement an flood filter anti-spam, we've all pretty much tuned out the voice commands. so them not working right isnt really a big deal for me

This doesn't work together very well with the Final Boss soundpack.

Here try this: http://www.mediafire.com/?qzl2qea4nziyqou

Works fine otherwise but the voice commands are still fucked. For example "attack!" command gives the "sorry!".

Heh true, 95% of the commands are useless for me. I still quite enjoy yelling fall back and help when I'm running away. This is not really a big issue but sometimes it's a bit annoying as your teammates give warnings about incoming infantry and the sound tells you something about shieldwall.

These new taunts are pretty funny though. Reminded me of days in Age of Chivalry spamming those absolutely fantastic sound acting taunts. Decided to try how they sound in c-rpg, result was hilarious. They fit pretty well to me. Feel free to try, all sounds are courtesy of AoC mod for hl2. Just zip to your c-rpg folder/sounds.

Alright I did few more changes, seems to work for me at least. http://www.mediafire.com/?mgamkl1qbzy5hqm

I don't use Final Boss soundpack so this is for plain MMS.

why would Heirloom mod (VISUAL) in any way affect a SOUND mod?

He made a small sound mod too replacing the shooting and getting shot sounds for xbows and bows.

Working well.  How exactly did you edit it?

The sound indexes mapped to quickmenu voicechat entries were off by one.
Also added some new snd_ballista_crank sound that didn't exist in MMS sounds file before.

Seems to work fine. Thanks for that!
I've been messing with this a while before I found this post.

No voice chat again :(
I'm a female if it makes difference.
Hello and silence are working but, not the other ones... =/

Tried this last sounds.ini, digglez one, all the same.

Anyone  has a new  sounds.txt or knows one which works?

Since patch voice commands do not work properly.

:!: :?:

Sounds such as Whistling. Silence and so on arent working for me. They are played when something else is said, such as "Open the Gate" while I actually say "Shut up!".

Doesnt really fit.

I'm still using it even with that problem. Turns out I literally can't play without the more metal sounds, when the patch first installed and I was trying it without reinstalling my submods, I was thrown off by the native sounds. Contact and everything didn't really register for me, weird stuff. I'm sure it's just a matter of getting used to it, but I'd rather be used to the awesome sounds of more metal and hope for a voice commands fix. At least you can still see what was actually voice commanded so it's not too confusing or a big deal for now.

Well, if someone knows how to fix it, it should actually just take some changes in the Sounds.txt,  I would try to do it.

The ones that must be broken should be these which begin like that "snd_vchat_1_**********" or "snd_vchat_female_1***********" for females.

But I dont have a clue what those numbers mean behind them, for exemple:

snd_vchat_1_quickmenu_watch_aim 3408 1 817 0
snd_vchat_female_1_quickmenu_watch_aim 3408 1 915 0
