Updated main post to reflect current mod state.

Sounds.txt is really the only thing that changes now. I am currently using the txt file that is now posted in TEAL

I tried out the Final Boss' sound mod, there's some nice sounds there. :)

Here's two more versions of sounds.txt if someone wants to try that mod. Luckily it's easy to install since the sound files don't override anything, you can just swap old sounds.txt afterwards to get back to normal MMS sounds.

All Final Boss' sounds: http://www.mediafire.com/view/k3k1hw8cci5fg7i/
(Be warned, women have male voice too when they get shot! Not to mention the screams get annoying very fast.)

Fixed version: http://www.mediafire.com/view/uu4a84hzonarf58/
This has default MMS sounds when one gets shot, the rest of the Final Boss stuff is there.

Why is the OP about FinalBoss' soundpack when it's supposed to be about MMS?

1) Download the MMS pack from here and extract the files to warband/modules/crpg/sounds folder (override existing files).

2) Download Final Boss sounds from here and extract the files to that same folder (override existing files).

3) Copy one of the following sounds.txt to warband/modules/crpg folder. (snip snip from op):

All Final Boss' sounds: http://www.mediafire.com/view/k3k1hw8cci5fg7i/

Are you sure you extracted the .ogg files into modules/crpg/sounds folder and not into a subfolder?
Missing sounds suggests that it can't find the files.

yes, did I do the correct thing by deleting the entire sounds text file and replacing it in the scrapbook afterwards?

Yes I'm pretty sure the sounds.txt is fine, because you get script error messages in game if it's messed up.

Oh and btw check module.ini (it's in same folder as sounds.txt), and make sure it has scan_module_sounds = 1. I think it should by default if you used launcher, but check anyway.

when looking at the MMS folder I just donwloaded, there are several different things in there, extra's, sounds, warband and 2 text files, should I extract the entirety into the sounds folder of my crpg mod or just the sounds part?

Extract only the contents of sounds-folder.
