Edit guess i should have waited, loaded up and everyone was fighting with the force apparently as no weapon models loaded and then the game crashed. tehe.

it wont even let me play the old version. when i click no it just tells me "update canceled" then it sits on its ass doing nothing. not launching crpg or anything

oh and btw after repairing the textures came back.  Seems the new version of c-rpg doesn't like the loom pack.  There is a body armor thats missing though, i forgot to ask the dude what he was wearing.

I'm a really new player around level 17 and so obviously haven't been doing too good.

There I was hacking and slashing away in my best game yet. I was within the top 4 of the scoreboard and just as we were about to win the defence of the castle, BAM! Game crashed. Typical....

TR/Patched.Gen is a generic one though and Avira is overly sensitive.

Case in point Battlefield 3: https://forum.avira.com/wbb/index.php?page=Thread&threadID=138159 -- same positive TR/Patched.Gen

Get Malwarebytes Anti-Malware to be safe, the free version is enough to scan and protect --  which haven't detected anything and it is by far the superior product to Avira Antivir.

Can someone uplaod for me new surcoats textures? I messed something with files, and don't see them in game  nvm

Virus alert is because I patched the executable to load fmodex_old.dll instead of fmodex.dll (to avoid overwriting original Warband files).
Don't worry about it, it's just bad antivirus companies who prefer to mark everything as a virus instead of writing proper detection routines.
