The polearms are really well balanced. I would suggest just taking your time and trying them all out. Different polearms are better for different people.

German Poleaxe is my polearm preference for a strength biased build. This diverse question would have varying answers due to playstyles. I have been playing c-RPG for over two years now, so it's a fairly credible opinion may I say so myself.

Wrong, the QStaff is only good for hybriding/spam builds in my opinion, due to it's one-slot and high-speed.

I have a german poleaxe and an iron staff, both of which I greatly enjoy.  Iron staff is underrated, but it's fast speed coupled with it's decent blunt damage and knockdown has been a recent favorite of mine. German poleaxe is just a beast - I used it my last 24/15 pole gen.

If you want to two-hit people, then the poleaxe / German poleaxe are good choices. They are also good choices for use around teammates, since they have great stab damage (polearm sideswings are a real pain to use near teammates).

The warspear, while not what you are looking for, is also quite good. Around teammates you can use the stab, and when you are alone you can use the sideswings to stun your opponents so that you can get a stab in.
