Best Polearm for 24/15

I'm currently using the bec and it seems to be alright, but a little short. I was wondering if there are other options. I'd like it to be moderately fast (90 or more?) and also have some reach to it. I'm not averse to using a 2 directional polearm, I mean, Miley seems to scare god with hers, but I don't think I can move that fast or be that good. Mostly I'd like to be able to 2hit most non-tincan enemies and still have the speed to match strikes with a 2h.

Any of the Poleaxes are great candidates as an all-around weapon, you can't go wrong with any of them.

But my personal suggestion on other polearms with good reach and decent speed;
Swiss Halberd - Decent speed and damage, really great reach and the bonus to shield is icing on the cake, bi-directional.
Long Awlpike - Impressive reach and piercing damage but lower end speed, with proper technique it's devastating, bi-directional.
English Bill - See Awlpike, but with piercing overhead, bi-directional.
Glaive - A longer version of the omni-directional poleaxes without bonus to shield, one of my favorites.

Glaive is hell fast but suites less armour styles.

2 directional is inferior.

Awlpikes and ashwood pike are great for dropping cans especially with your 8 PS build. even with a shield you will 1 hit some opponents.

Poleaxe has a secondary mode that is cool.

All the poleaxes, but roll with German/Regular Poleaxe for an easier gameplay, Elegant is kinda frustrating to use.

Don't listen to him about the bi-directional, they're fuckin awesome.

I do, however, recommend a glaive or poleaxe for your build though.  Swiss and Bill are a support role weapon, kind of like a long spear / pike deal, but you have the full ability to go 1v1, so long as you're agile enough to make your opponent miss an up or down block.  The poleaxes are fully functional beasts of weapons capable of high pierce thrusts on top of high cut / shield break swings.  Regular Pole is slowest and longest, German's the most powerful, and Elegant is quick, plays almost like a 2Her.

Consider a Long or Great Long Bardiche too, awesome weapons.

Thing with the bec is as long as you get around +10 cut compared to piercing you don't lose out a whole lot. Now when you look at weapons in similar length/price ranges you have 2 very good axes which improve your overall effectiveness on the field due to them breaking shields faster. You lose the half decent stab but bec is short as a stabbing weapon anyway. At that price range without shield breaker stat you might as well get something longer imo.

So many viable polearms though, you can't really say whats best. Just buy unloomed versions of the half decent ones and try for yourself. Get some spears (War Spear, Long spear etc), axes (Long Bardiche + the more expensive faster/shorter ones), Swiss Halbard, one of the poleaxes, Long Hafted blade/ Glaive and the crushthrough one. Don't limit yourself to just 1 too, sometimes its worth taking whatever you think will work best on the map or whatever you feel like
If you have ranged troubles use this:

Poleaxe for range, Glaive if you don't really stab, Swiss or English Bill for super range and awesome support, Pike for the lulz, or German if you face hug just a bit.
I'm not normal and I don't pretend so, my approach is pretty much a bomb crescendo.
Death is a fun way to pass the time though, several little bullets moving in staccato.

one/two directional weapons are beast if you learn to use them, it's a big disadvantage yes but the weapons themselves still manage to be pretty awesome.

Battle Fork is a good option, with a good pierce damage overhead.

You'll probably not find something with better performance than the bec, though, as far as your spammy polearms go.

E: The long-hafted knobbed mace is good, four directions and good blunt damage.  One  of the two may not be four directions, I can't remember, but I used one for a bit that was simply amazing.

Also use a danish greatsword in secondary mode as your primary weapon.

This. It's cheaper than the high end poleaxes, it's an axe, has nice slash damage (45c!) and it simply just is really sexy.

Consider it as your leech-weapon if you wish, it's my baby <3

Long hafted knobbed mace is quality, I use a +3 version and the only thing I would consider swapping it for is a great long axe +3 plus cash.

Plus you will love the knockdowns you get.
