Overall best builds and gear

There is no overall best build.

My favourite build is 24/15 8IF 8PS 5ATH 5WM. Both as polearm and 2h. I only play siege, so movement speed doesn't matter that much for me.

I am absolutely loving the 18/21 build so far, and im only level 16 and racking up kills and doing pretty well for blocking. Not sure how to handle katana spammers though

COngratulations, that is one of the best balanced 2h builds.

My frustrating all nighters of dueling to try and learn to block paid off alot more than I thought, I probably just needed a break before it all registered in my head.

Now, right now im using the two handed sword because its decent dmg and also really good speed, I like the danish greatsword but its a bit too slow for me, I get interrupted alot. Are there any other options?

Pretty much everything is viable. It all comes down to preference and playstyle.
For example, my favorite 2h is the Goedendag, followed by the warcleaver.

Great Sword and Sword of War are faster than the two top tier. My favourite is the Great Sword.

Just started running this with a polearm and it's great.

there is no best gear,and no best builds. When will you people learn that?
Everything depends on your play style. I like speed so i would suck even harder with 21/15 build,but 15/21 or 15/24 it would be fine for me.
Others would fail with my build because they like one hit and would use 27/15 (it is posible to make this build) or 30/3.
Every weapon in game is balanced,and fair to other weapons.
Here is example i can kill with mallet dude who is using great maul because mallet is having more speed and i will hit him earlier,lance can kill other lancer whois using heavy lance because of speed and skill of player no matter if he have 10 more reach then me. Find item you like,and practise with it.
