Face paint

Instead of wearing a helmet you could wear war paint. Native, scottish ect.

Face paint wouldn't give armor but it could buff your damage by a point or two.

Would this be possible in the game?

Edit: minor grammar

Sorry but this game mechanic has been forced to be removed from game.  People were changing there skin color to match the background they were in causing way too many delays.  They became positively impossible to find in 95% of the maps.  Sorry I couldn't provide better news for you.

I don't mean a customization feature I mean a few predetermined patterns would be in the shop, like example you would have two face paint patterns buyable in the helmet shop, one would be a bright blue/white model or a red native design ect.

Would this replace the head model and make it impossible to match with everyones unique face?

I'm not suggesting the goal be for camouflage.

Face paint wouldn't give armor but it could buff your damage by a point or two.

Head Armor is, as it says, for the head protection. Additional dmg would only cause one thing:

All Archers, Crossbows or anything else for range dmg goes with that additional dmg and gets a buff. All infantry do need their head armor and cant use it unless they want to die very easily in melee...

Also dont like the idea of it, however wouldnt be opposed (as Im fine with archer buff)

I'm not normal and I don't pretend so, my approach is pretty much a bomb crescendo.

I'd like to paint my face with blood.

This is already implemented. Works quite well when you eat a sword.

Yeah well it fades fast.

Only solution is to constantly kill a lot of people then.

This is a good point, but realistically face paint can't give any sort of head armor, that just wouldn't make sense lol, so it had to be something else.

Having war paint on a face is likely to make people look more intimidating or make them feel more patriotic in the cause and buff them in some sort of fashion.

For a crossbowman melee is a much greater possibility and 1-2 damage increase on an already huge pierce base value doesn't sound totally absurd for losing his helmet. I'm not sure how much more damage an archer is going to do with a couple extra damage points.

Just needs to be something unique that it offers otherwise equipping it is pointless and you'd be better off with a woolen cap for it would offer more protection. The main thing here isn't to break the balance but to have face paint!
