Allow to make new main

If we deleted our main character, we should be allowed to make one our alternates in to the new main. Maybe with a cool down or something.

Edit: I'm sure this isn't the case now as it was being abused, but for some situations, it's just something to do. Like, I made a new character to play and deleted my main and I don't want to retire and just sacrifice this char, I want it to be my main.

you can create a new main,  but can not make your alt a main.

Sacrificing is all well and good, but it means you're new main is still Gen1 and has no wpf inheritance.

Well forget the wpf then, the gens are still important, 3% is pretty significant for how long it takes to gen up again.

What if, to make it balanced, you allow, on retirement if you don't have a main, you can choose to convert your character to your main? That would fix any exploits I believe.

I'm bringing this back to life, I continue to grow nearer to retirement and would love to be able to trade on this char.

What reason would you have to want a new main?
A new name? Doable on retirement
Anythine else?

Trading, you can't access the marketplace or strat with an alternate.

And why would you delete your main on the first place? Thats what I meant with my question, sorry if it was not clear enough
Your main probably was a higher gen than your alt (or you were doing something pretty wrong there), and by sacrificing alts you can just get all the heirlooms to the main, who should be the one you play on most and thus your highest gen. You can also trade on it with all your heirlooms, and I dont see the problem.
If youve deleted your main by accident, you can always ask Meow to restore it back

No they were all gen1, I got tired of the main and deleted because it was only ~25, sacrificing is only for looms, I want the gens as well, it makes no sense that we can't make a retiring alt our main provided we don't have a main. It's not exploitable at all.
