Rumor has it you can currently beg Meow on IRC to do this for you. We could be saving Chairman Meow work, and what's good for the state is good for us.

Id love this, as i too impulsively made one toon (with the most gold) my main, then read that to make another main I had to delete that one.

Well, it turns out you cant make another toon your main BUT instead need to make a totally new character?!.
bummed out about that...
