Your forecast leaves out one of the more...interesting cRPG weather conditions:

Never had it rain with sun before? You live a sheltered life! I've had it snow, rain, hail, be windy as hell and sunny all in the course of a few hours. And just because nature is a bitch, rain and sun at the same time, just to make everything wet when you're in the woods.

The fog is awesome, makes being sneaky rewarding and fun. The rain not so much because of how drastically it reduces movement speed. Possible to have it set it to scale the movement so when it first begins to rain, it's only minor but builds up?

Just make it so that special weather conditions (rain, fog, ...) happen OCCASIONALY, not often.

I'm surprised that almost half the voters voted no.

But then again, my theory that half the player base are 'full-retards' is reaffirmed.

Adding something like rain while knowing that it will penalise and in some cases make certain styles unplayable, is poor game design at best.

Its more like dedicated 2 hand or polearm players that are tired of ranged shooting them, so are therefor opposed to any ranged buff.  I dont blame them, this gen im a full str stacking crutcher and i didnt even put 2 points into shield... and i regret it.

But ranged classes suffer from rain too.

....

That was my point.

Removing rain would be a buff to ranged classes.

I thought it only affected crossbows and slowed down cav? Not archers as well.

It affects bows as well, just not as much as it affects xbow.

Keep the penalties, increase the frequency of bright sunny days. Bright sunny days are a good day to die.

For while the fire in the heart of a single Remnant still burns... can Stratia truly have fallen?

They have misunderstood something then. Infantry has a pretty ridiculous athletics penalty in rain so their dodging and other footwork skills are limited, meaning a severe handicap against all other classes.

That's easy to avoid. It's called 36/3 build...

Btw I have 8 ath, feels like 3 most of the time

I voted "no", because we need to keep thoses interesting penalties.
BUT
I do feel there's way too much rain and night at the moment, and would gladly vote to make it less likely to rain, and more sunny overall.
