the penalties are there for realism, but it would be interesting if the weather could change mid-map and light rain sometimes instead of downpour.

It does change mid map, just because it doesn't update client side until map change doesn't mean it hasn't changed.

Less night time, less rain or make it so rain doesn't so heavily affect everything.

Rain and penalties doesn't bother me. Nighttime however makes it really hard to perform as I can't see good enough. It's like a 50% penalty to k:d ratio.

I'd vote to reduce rain% but increase *heavy* fog%

I LOVE fighting in pea soup fog.

I LOVE fighting in pea soup fog.

Heavy fog is just one big delay fest, if I die within the first minute of a heavy fog battle I just alt tab because I know it will take ages to get over with.

Please reduce the night cycle!  Rain is one thing, but fighting half the time in the dark?

Why?

1. Because it doesnt add anything to the game but eyestrain.

2. Medieval Battles were usually fought in the spring and summer and during daylight hours.

3.  Even sieges have a history of wall assaults generally happening most of the time during the same above conditions.

4. It sucks

lol

QFMFT.  I seriously cant see half the weapons IG during the night hours.  I cannot stand playing most maps during night cycle because off this, and if you add fog to the mix its farking retarded.

I support halfing the night cycle, and halfing the ammount it rains even if its a direct archery/xbow buff
