Smoothrich admin abuse

In an effort to disperse some tension, I wrote a chorale dedicated to this incident.

The poll was before the admin said anything,  why would he deserve a 1 day ban, if people on the other team agreed to ban him...

I just threw 24 hours as a default time, with the intention to unban him as soon as he came to the forums, to show that ban polling people you dislike/are causing some trouble isn't the way to handle problems in strategus battles when admins are present.

Ok guys a few things before im going to get off this post(hopefully).
1.I did/still do disagree with smoothrich's decision
2.I DO respect his administrative choice although I may not agree with it
3.I do not wish there to be continued bad feelings between anyone from this
4.(and most important) I am convinced that Chris P Bacon will be the next Mozart

so what punishment did you have in mind for allers and the rest of the spammers smoothrich? just wait for another admin to mute them or what?

Allers spammed chat, so he was muted.  That's all.  If anyone else continued to spam chat after warnings, they'd be muted.  If people left the server to rejoin to continue spamming and evade the mute, they'd be banned.  This is the standard policy for "chat spamming" or "chat abuse" without it being racism or harassment.

1.) Ban polling in a strat battle is nothing more than greifing and or nerdraging.  If you have an issue with someone take it up with an admin.  If said admin does not action the person the appropriate reaction is to document the event (TAKE SCREENSHOTS AND/OR FRAPS) and post in the admin feedback forum.

2.) This section is for ban/unban requests, everything else will be considered spam and sanctioned accordingly.
Only posts allowed are on-topic posts by the people asking for a ban/unban, admins and witnesses that can provide relevant information regarding the individual case.

Smooth needs his admin revoked and to be banned, he constantly lets allers horsebump and tk friendly.  If you speak in 'I' chat or mention it nothing gets done.  I guess ill just have to start spamming print screen button and be an annoying prick like the majority of the community.  Team bumping me 5 times in a row until I die isnt right, 5 tk reports in a row should be proof enough, especialy when there is only 1 enemy left and allers is going out of his way to run me over and then says "owned".  Stop being biased and do your job as an admin.
