Real talk: emotions were high, it was end of a strat battle, Allers was being handled by the admins, but I think ban polls under most circumstances are griefing.. Allers was spamming chat after we stopped I guess but I honestly did not realize at the time he was doing it more then anyone else, as it mostly died down after the complaints started..
Regardless, I suggest you refrain from BAN polling people during strat battles, as under most circumstances its an unacceptable use of the poll features, report problems to I chat and admins have the power to warn, mute, kick, or ban as necessary. I'm not exactly sure why ban polls are enabled in the first place, I have been turning them off NA_3 because they always get abused..
The ban has been lifted, my impartial sense of adminship felt that a quid pro quo ban for ban was fair as putting up ban polls when half the server is guaranteed to hit 1 out of competitive bias/rage is the wrong way to handle things.
