There I can only find the new black armour with stripes, but as I understood the topic the old black armour received a new model/skin. If I understood right, could somebody please post a screenshot or so? I'd like to see the difference, to be able to judge if the new one is better. But honestly, when I think about the old model, pretty much anything new can only look better
When I think of the old black armor, I always thought: "Who the hell goes into battle wearing metal armor that's painted black? You'd pass out from heat exhaustion in 2 minutes."
People wore black armours. It was some kind of blue-black, and was mostly used in the (really) late medieval ages and the beginning of the Rennaissance, but still. The effect wasn't that severe, I suppose. And the Knights Hospitaller wore a black surcoat in the fuckin' desert! That's not much better.
