Haha - next time, be ready when you call the war... According to my knowledge, stopping the battle is technically impossible. Sorry Dude.
BTW - Surprised?

Nice battle. Both sides had gaps in arms, but a lot of interesting items were on the ground. Now we have more weapons than before the attack
Especially interesting are Flamberges. I recognize here the work of the famous blacksmith called RandomDude. Am I right?

I could have taken your flags down

But they didn't want me to

And they kept killing you guys.

Even when I did get all the flags down you'd say NO SUDDEN DEATH and flip them back up, made me sad when I was the 3rd one alive, I killed 3 of you at the flags, and you kept putting them back up.

E: oh yeah, and thanks for my best KDR to date.  I guess we're not so different when it comes down to a skins VS skins match.  :D

Why didnt you just listen to orders?

Theres no point flagging in an equal player match. I love to take flags in a battle where I have a lot more players but otherwise it's useless for defenders to try it.

Ive never ever seen a battle or village defence like we had where taking the flags worked as defenders.

It's called lack of thinking. If you're not a champion, although listen to the orders ...  Lack of teamwork and too many "Rambo" is the easiest way to lose. Don't take him to roster.

I did actually listen to orders.

I was killing archers near the windmill when you were calling for the final push, so I didn't make it back to you guys as you were getting spawnkilled, so I figured what the hey, and I got all their flags down at the end.  :P

BTW, I have done flags down for defenders and attackers a few times, even when we were outnumbered.  It's really not that hard to do.

Certainly a better option than straight up losing.

Everybody else was dead, am I supposed to follow the standing order of "Everybody meet up right for a final push!" when it was too late for me to have done that?

I mean, I get it.  The battle was lost.  Does somebody really have to take the blame for it?

Well, hey, your army, your call.  I spawned naked the entire time, and still went 1:1.  It's your decision if you're going to take somebody who went 1:6 with said armor.

(Half of my deaths were from following orders, by the way.  The fronts were losing battles with all of their archer cover, you're welcome that I was flanking and killing them along with some players in your own faction, but go ahead and single me out for talking about it.)

Experienced players are welcome to use their brains during a strat fight. If everyone were an automaton i think that most of my strat battles would of gone a lot worse.

For example: Attacking a village, you decide not to follow the main group, because you see the enemy archers are targetting them and havent seen you. You manage to jump onto the roof and kill them all, therby saving your team lots of nasty incoming arrows.

Or: Attacking a village, you see a really good spot on a raised position for archers to position themselves. You call it out on TS and decide to stay there to cover them as melee. You dont participate in the charges because you know you need to defend the archers.

Or: Defending a village, you see some enemies flanking and call it out on TS. Some guys follow you and you take them out. You might decide to stay there and cover that position just in case they try it again.

An experienced strat player knows when to go for enemy flags and when not to and your post was ambiguous as to when you went for the flags. If we had no tickets and people were dead it didnt really matter what you did at the end. There wasnt a possibility of you single handedly turning the battle by going for the flags at that point either though.

Most people have strat battles where their KD is good, and sometimes their KD is bad. I fought for ATS in strat 2 and got a K:D of 6:1. The rest of the team just died pretty much and lost all flags. This was on NA ping.

Another strat battle i struggled to get a 1:1 KD.

People want players they can trust to be smart, not just get a good kd.

Not saying you're not smart, just generalising here.

Sometimes 1 guy doesn't listen to orders because he thinks he soooo goooood, charges into enemy alone and even if he have positive KD, he attracts other players to follow him and they die one by one making battle KD worse, or he could protect 10 archers, instead he is runing from them because there is a larger group of inf, and he can kill few to get better KD, while 10 of his archers being slaughtered or runing away and not killing enemies at that time.

Following orders is important there should be some flexibility withint those orders. But those RAMBO guys often make things worse then better.

If one crazy nut charges without orders and bringing all his group into battle too soon, it doesn't matter how many he killed, because it cost team whole group of dead guys.

I think if everyone spent their gold on catapults I would pwn any team. Although there might be some radioactive fallout afterwards and noone would be able to use the villages afterwards for a while.  :(
