It wouldn't be too hard to go rent a server and get this running, but would it actually stay popular?

Yeah I thought the TunaTown server was melee only, did that change?  Problem is though, no one's ever in it.  We actually held a clan event in there last week and it was just us the whole time. =P

That's exactly it. Everyone says they want it but no one would play in it.

Those pictures just get me hard. All those melee weapons and no horses/ranged. I think we have a large enough melee community to fill it. It doesn't have to be a huge server maybe like 50 man server?

Tuna town used to be a melee only NA server, and was always decently populated and people liked it. They took it off melee only and it quickly depopulated. The server is still up, Talk to the server owners (FCC --> BRD) to make it melee only again.
It's that simple.

What I like about the EU melee server is it clearly states its Melee only in the server name unlike tuna town which sometimes was melee and sometimes not.

It was full at first when the server first released but then it slowly died.

I was incredibly excited about TunaTown when he first put it up and it was supposedly going to be melee only, but he switched it to weekends only, so I never joined it ever again.  I mean seriously, it's already in Chicago like every other server, what's the point?

The idea is we need it admined like the EU one is such that they will kick/ban people who use longspear/pike and crushthough weapons as their rules say.  That being said I'd be happy to help admin it.

Well Kalam is the only one with control over the server and we have not seen him in ages so unless he comes back I don't see Tuna Town becoming a Melee Only server.

Yeh. Going off for a year and a half or so, taking the server down. If there's still a need for it when I get back, I'll put one up then.

I agree, EU cRPG melee only is an awesome server, had more fun there than all the other servers combined. I also like the maps, they often provide opportunity to spartakick people to death

On EU, people usually just ban/kick poll people who spawn with horses, CT, long spears.
