I'd suggest the addition of drowning to cRPG. I know it can be done, it happens in Persistant World.

Archers in the water is kinda stupid, when cav and infantry's approach is slowed due to water. I don't think it should be as extreme as in PW Mod, where you start taking damage in around 5 seconds. 30 seconds before taking damage should work.

30 is too long, maybe 10-15 so you are able to cross a tiny river. Maybe also take dmg in the water (not drowning) if you are playing on a snowy map with ice ua.

A 'Breath meter' like UI element would be nice with this. So that you can tell if you're ok to cross the river or if you better get out quick.
Maybe you are not bad, but you are a boring person. Well, that's the end of the matter.

Oh the trolling potential of cav knocking people down in the water....

I agree with adding drowning though.  Underwater sword fights are silly.

I want to live under the sea you bunch of jerks. Maybe if you foot jerks are under water you drown but we noble horse loves should be able to breath freely! Until de-horsed.

would also be cool if you could make melee swings super slow in water, and arrows basically unable to shoot from water

I can hold my breath IRL for 2 and a half minutes, so my character should too.
Also, I have declared myself #1 NA hybrid thrower
Formerly known as Marathon.
As an NA admin, I am the most laid back and concerned with the ~fun of the game~ above all other factors. I've also been super inactive since Summer 2012. University takes most of my time, but I still find some time to play when i can.

Damn I miss that game...
I'm not normal and I don't pretend so, my approach is pretty much a bomb crescendo.
Death is a fun way to pass the time though, several little bullets moving in staccato.
The terror of my reign will live on in infamy, singing when they die like a dead man's symphony.

For while the fire in the heart of a single Remnant still burns... can Stratia truly have fallen?

While at it, add "suffocation" to archer hidden in glitched hay stacks.
