Was'nt sure it made a big difference then update loaded new textures and combat freezes again.

This does make a difference for me.

(2.13 GHz dual core, 3.25 gb ram, Radeon 5700 - I know old spec)

thanks

Maybe my twin videocards have plenty of memory or something like that, but i didn't really notice a difference. Installed it anyway though.

Had no problems at all with these adjusted textures. Good initiative!

This is cool and all but since I installed it can't play more than two hours in a row. CTDs are almost regular...

Will go back to Socrates Optimization pack, looks fugly but at least I can play for longer period of time.

My system isn't that weak but this mod with every batch of new stuff added gives me less and less fps and various problems.

This pack only contains the same textures that are already in cRPG with only difference that the textures are in correct dds format,  and brfs are in correct warband format with cleaned redundand verts/poss, which reduced the amount of memory used by graphic card for 40MB and probably eased the processor work by using correct brf format.

Now with each new update this pack should be updated from time to time, I'll take a look through files once more and see if there is a need for more correcting, if does I'll speak with meow to update the main post.

I  may be able to help you if you explain what untuff and tuff means.

This. Like a half year ago I always had more then 130 fps, even on a full eu1. Now with more then 100 players my fps drop to around 80, which feels like I´m playing on the cRPG_Asia server whilst very drunk....
Basicaly the next big step in terms of increasing performance is making lods for ton of stuff, let's see if this will be implemented into cRPG and then I will start thinking about making lods which is long and tiresome job. That's another thing that could increase performance too.

sounds good :)

This.

It would be great to have lods for the models, I don't know a lot about that but I know that it's not an easy, or relaxing thing to do sadly.

you do realise that you statement makes no sense due to you not being able to notice a drop like that unless you are a new sepcies of human that can see over 100 fps.

Most likly you can only see the same as everyone else which is about 30-40 fps

Not to mention that you are staring at a monitor which most likely only refreshes 60 times a second.

Still, I do not actually think the ingame fps counter is always right.

but it helps, i have my game limited at 50fps due to limited processing power and ram, and a old graphics card, and i usualy get between 40-50 fps which is perfect, and it alows the processer to run better

Aurora makes me grab a shield every game!

I was getting 30FPS at the worst of places(looking out on the entire map) but now I get 60+ no matter what. Works great!
