I had final boss heirloom pack installed. Then i installed this one and i can no longer see heirloomed items. Should i reinstall heirloom pack over this one now?

Hmm, I am not sure how you would have managed to do that since the pack only overwrites Textures and .brf files, not the item_kinds1.txt which sets the models that are used for each item.

Installing the heirloom pack after this one will overwrite the bows and arrows.

So rather try if it works if you run the final boss installer and then overwrite with this pack again.

Seems like a very strange error and should be unrelated to this pack.

Maybe he had an old version of the mod installed. I had no problems on my side.

I'm going to try this out.  Normally I have to start up with 'load textures on demand' enabled, or else I crash while loading setting data, even though I have a decent system.  Unfortunately, load textures on demand makes the game stutter a bit whenever someone spawns, so the beginning of rounds in battle & sieges are a total clusterfuck for me.

Be back in 10 to let you know how it goes lol.

Final Boss's pack must be installed latest, and probably after every texture pack or official crpg patch. The purpose of installer is to modify the item_kinds1 file.

oO

Which is exactly why you have to install the final boss pack before you apply this one...
So the final_boss_bows and _arrows can be overwritten with the optimized ones.
The item_kinds1.txt is not touched at all by this pack.

Well, still can't uncheck 'load textures on demand' or else I get an 'out of video memory' error (which was my problem before).  You'd think 1 gig of video memory, 4 gigs of RAM, and 6 gigs of virtual memory would cover it. :?

On the other hand, the stutter seems gone, so :D

Step one: Go to documents.

Step two: Locate Warband folder.

Step three: Open rgl_config.txt.

Step four: Find line: render_buffer_size.

Step five: Increase the amount of the buffer, try 50% of your total VGA ram for an example.

???

Profit.

Had the same problem before, and even that didint work.
Yeah, I tried that and a few other solutions.  No dice.

However, this optimization seems to have helped quite a bit.  After playing for awhile, I still get weird stutter, but it's smaller, at least.

I've been reading that it might have something to do with my graphics settings, so maybe I'll play around with those.

Maybe I am too stupid, but checking my fps with fraps I had around 60-100 before I installed this. Afterwards it showed around 400 and performance was much better. But I cannot understand why it should go up like that?

However it shows changes.

For some people it works, for some, it doesn't do a damn thing.

Must be hardware related, it made my game more stable fps-wise.

Should have included that.

It's awesome, I can now throw a flashbang and rush through it without losing fps. I am complete.

If you use the final boss heirloom pack, please make sure that is installed before you overwrite with this pack.
Only the bow files will be overwritten though.

Heh, first installed this pack but now I want also to install heirloom pack. Will it hurt if I copy FB Heirloom pack files and then apply this pack again?
