Heirloom textures still work, and it recudes some fps loss on my old 8800GT, nice work.

You prefer swing, see animation but do not hit?

It works. Thank you.

lol i would like to be able to see the swing incoming so i can (try to) block it...
Trying it a bit more, thanks, it improves performance and reduces fps drops

If this keeps happening you can try to do a repair, then extract the rar file somewhere else, go into Resource
Delete:
anim_papa_lazarou.brf
Psiphoon_animations.brf

And then copy the folder over and overwrite.

Not sure it's related but possible.

Kinda awesome this has such a nice impact for everyone

Meow, can you tell us what «Psiphoon_animations.brf» do in this mod? All what I remember at TW forums was his «Golf stroke» and big arbalest loading.

Excellent so this might help prevent my computer from dropping down to 150 fps in really resource intensive battles and keep me consistently in the 250-300 fps range.

Danke sir

On a serious note, if any of you guys live in Minnesota (or would drive here) who have a really shitty computer I basically have almost all the components for a 4 year old computer sitting at home collecting dust (minus the case, and cd/dvd player, might also have to buy your own hard drive, but all these are very cheap).

*Micro atx mobo - for intel LGA 775 processors, 4 memory slots (can support up to 8 or 16 GB), 1 slot for PCI-E v1.0, IDE and Sata connections
*Intel Core 2 Duo (2.6ghz I believe)
*4 GB of DDR2 memory
*ATX x1950 pro graphics card (might run into driver issues on games that are are 1 year old and newer, it's hit or miss, but games like Warband will run fine).
*450 or 500 watt power supply (it was enough to run my setup)

I always ran Warband fine, and could play Civ 5 pretty easily (although due to drivers the resource yields look weird).  Only issue in warband I had was playing PWMod, I would only get 20-40 FPS, but could play CRPG just fine.

The improvements on high-end machines are rather negligible :/

Right now i can not but i will check it out.
I just named the two files that could screw up animations

Of the game on my high-end machine? SURE

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HSFBFQd_c5k

Sadly youtube post-processed that video so it looks not anywhere as good as it looks here although i upped the raw footage =(

Anyhow i guess you wanted one with this pack but this pack does not actually change anything it just increases performance due to model/brf and texture optimization without quality loss.
Which is why we need it tested on as many machines as possible and add it to the mod itself.

Hmm.

Good idea Zimke!

Ill give it a try, would be cool to run this maxed out @stable 120 fps, not just 80 - 120fps, 16 x anisotropic, + x4 AA Supersampling.

Though I am sure this will fuck up all my texture mods i currently use....

My 3D stuff will arrive today, hopefully it ll look good in games :-O

Good.

Anything, to stop the annoying lagspikes during a fight, it always seems to happen in the most important seconds to me.

Well, I know.. "get a good PC", but still.
