I have experienced it on different servers. I'm sure it happens to me on EU_1 but I also recently experienced it on the Fallen Training server. It's really annoying and happens quite a lot sometimes. I just love it when you get disconnected only to find out theres a password on EU_1, thats mostly when I GTX.

Happens to Joey all the time on NA1. He has been blaming it on his cpu.

mh, probably not very helpful but it really can't be related to servers, because some (me) never have this problem.

do you who experience this problem all live in old houses with shitty / old copper wiring?

I get this problem too, and my experience seems to indicate it's basically that the wire is shitty and gets bogged down.

Since like 3 weeks ago, between 16:30 and 23:30 (approximately) my ping rises to the double and more, and it is literally unplayable. I contacted my ISP and everything was fine. I've tried other games and it's fine. Except cRPG during the evenings.

What is happening to the servers that this strange thing happens to me (and some other Spanish who told me the same weeks ago)?

I want to play at those hours, since it's when most of the people I know play, but I just can't.

What's going on?

Edit: I have tried forwarding the port 7240, which is mentioned in a thread in TW Forums, but nothing has changed.

As a player from Hungary, I can only say that here the connection is great.

Are those "other spanish" people using the same ISP?

I had so many calls to my old ISP with problems, and they've always told that there is no problem on their side, and that it must be my side that's messing up, while others around my area, using the exact same ISP, had the exact same problems.

Yes, Christo, those who told me they had the same problem have the same ISP indeed. It is the worst you can have here in Spain, but it's the only one I can have where I live.

Bad quality, paired with typical customer service that doesn't care about feedback and tries to shut you up, just pay the monthly bills..

Totally like my old ISP, that was ditched after a few months we signed up for them, and they've almost went bankrupt because people left them for a better service provider that came in, faster speeds and better stability for a lower price.
This was many years ago, though.

What I find strange is that I've been having these disconnecting problems for a couple of weeks now, but played without trouble for a year and half (give or take) before that.

I sure as hell didn't change anything (I know of), so my ISP changed something?

Well, could a developer (or anyone who knows) tell me why this happens?

Were there any alterations to the official servers recently? Or something in the mod's code? I don't know what it may be, but I only know I can't play properly and nobody tells me why this is happening.
