I'll try to run a traceroute log tonight and find out at which hop the connection gets lost and then i'll nag Espu and Meow untill we got this fixed.

Hang in there guys, we're on it. It shall be fixed!

The only way I see that working is if you run the tracert, and then run a continuous ping to every hop on the way to the server (-t modifier for ping command...assuming you knew that already).

Kudos for you EU's who have the know-how, trying to troubleshoot.

Looks like the problem occurred on the hop between hos-bb1.juniper2.rz14.hetzner.de [213.239.240.247] and hos-tr4.ex3k11.rz14.hetzner.de [213.239.224.236]. Let's see if we can get some more data to confirm.

Time out's don't necessarily mean anything.  Some routers are set to not respond to ping requests.

If you looked at the log (open the spoiler), CrazyCracka420, you'll see that the routers in question were responding at the previous and the next attempts.

So far, for the half an hour i ran traceroute, i was unable to reach the server one time for a period shorter than 1 minute. That's consistent with what i've been seeing at home. I'll go home now and leave traceroute running for an evening. That should give us the data we need.

It would be really nice if a couple of you guys did the same. More results = more leverage to slap the hosting company with.

Bah... I've never had this problem, until this week  My ISP had like 2 hours black-out on Tuesday and since that, it losts connection very often. I can't play more than 1-2 minutes in a row Other games and speed are OK.  It happens to me even on NA servers.

I lose connection like 2-3 times (or less), while playing for 6 hours or more, so it doesn't affect me so much, but it has just started happening to me. I have never had such problems earlier. Instead, in the evenings sometimes I get 100-140 ping instead of 56-70. Don't know what's the problem.

Wow I thought it was just me.  I have been losing connection a LOT lately.  Not really sure why.
