I don't know about you Xeen, but the rest of us seem to be in a constant state of being totally broke. 

This was my understanding. Anyway, my point was that we as a guild haven't done that. Or planned to. So to amend what I said, maybe some players bought something on their own, but KUTT the clan hasn't. Waste of money imo.

I don't normally post or read this garbagebag of a thread, and reading through the last couple of pages reinforces that, but are we recruiting? Seen a couple of people I wouldn't mind giving a shot to, people uncorrupted by the bundle of sticksry of typical CRPG.

Building on that, the recruitment pool in this mod seems pretty stagnant and half the people we get have baggage out the ass or sound like they came straight from a mutant breeding pond in Utah or something. True story.

As I said, though, I was playing on a STF character and I don't really even have a 'first gen' character, which I think would exclude me from your Strategus aspirations.

Well Inigo, unfortunately the last 5-8 pages of this Thread have derailed.

Gwenn, I need to sit down and talk with Xeen about more recruits and prospects, because as it stands he was kind of firm on slowing down recruitment rates. You can start by sending me some information about you in a PM such as In Game Name, Time spent in cRPG, RL age, etc etc. Just give me some reasons as to why we should break the lock-dock on recruitment and we'll see if we can give you a shot

I can add my own reasons to that.

I think we need promising, newer players. I met this person fighting in a key gatehouse, which is good. Anyone that prioritizes objectives on a map is a player of the mindset we're looking for. They were inquisitive about game mechanics, and had a pretty solid setup for someone still asking basic questions. I took this as a good sign, someone that was willing to ask for advice and listen to it. A few other factors that contributed to the whole.

I suppose my main reason for the nomination was seeing someone that was both inexperienced and already focusing on some of the core ideas that make KUTT successful. Anyone naturally gravitating toward that, showing reasonable fighting competence, and a fresh outlook on the mod has a lot of potential, in my view.
