Repeating Crossbow?

The chinese repeating crossbow to be exact. My guess from the looks of it would be that it would allow the player to fire a quick succession of bolts at their target, of course sacrificing any actual stopping power and being reduced to being in a "anti-cloth" role and being useless against anyone with decent armor.

There is some repeating crossbow on our chinese mod Romance of the three kingdom but i am sure the dev won't give a shit about it. They won't even bother adding any shit cuz its up to them

Been suggested many times before.
I fully support the addition of a repeating crossbow, but sadly 2hander lobbyists who think that blocking one of four directions and spamming feints = skill, cant even deal with one archer shooting them from 15ft away at a rate of 1 arrow/4 seconds with horrible accuracy even when the archers entire character is built around maximum accuracy. So its not likely to be added.

My problem with this thing is that if you shoot someone, you stop and stun him for a very short period of time. When facing archers you regain your ability to move before they can shoot again, so its not impossible to dodge. A repeating crossbow however would make it very easy to hit an enemy with all your bolts.

You hit once, he staggers, then you just shoot the rest of your clip, while he just stands there staggering and probably crying.

It doesn't matter if it has little stopping power if you can get 6 bolts in.

when you shoot, you have to wait for reticule to come together again. and that takes alot of time even on high settings

33p damage and like 5 bolts a "magazine", and shoots maybe 1 shot per 2 seconds?
