O and I shall enlighten you. Hanukkah shifts with the Jewish calendar and so is slightly different each year, although usually in nov/dec and Ramadan is different by around 10 days each year as it follows the lunar calendar, as with all the Islamic festivals. Ramadan is particularly hard here in Britain atm because it is mid summer, meaning fasting for about 16 hours. Whereas in mid-winter it's about 8.
