i'm gen 19, with the armor heirloom bonus nerf, being 35 with a couple of purchased heirlooms is WAY better.

Yeah, but not everybody can do that...Play the same character wit hthe same Build for such a long time...That´s why retiring is good.

I´d really say

If you don't feel like grinding low levels anymore, stop retiring, simple as that.

Is the best way :D
Maybe it woud be better for me to find out where you life and kill you when you are satch a Soziopath. You have enough now.

It's funny how nobody mentions that some people need a regular gold income in order to pay the upkeep xD

Best way to do that is to sell a couple of loom points and earn gold with the gold you have.

Retire for as long as you can bear it, which was 6 times for me. I hated leveling, most retarded invention in gaming ever.

Funny how our views differ. I love retiring. The 'long' grind from 30 to 31 kinda bores me though.  :)

I really don't know if I should retire, My build seems pretty solid even though it's my first one.

Playing with my finished build is awesome. 30 to 31 passes like a breeze, cause I'm not looking at the xp bar all the time cause I don't really need to level up. 1-30 is awful, cause I keep thinking 'I wish I was faster', 'I wish I would hit harder'. Especially 25-30, I hate those levels.

Haha, I have the exact opposite feeling...

When I'm a peasant, I can be a troll without harming my team. I can't do much anyway. Furthermore, I always seem to get better multiplier when I'm low level and when I don't kill much.

search the forum and you'll see the shortest way to get to 35 is by having gen X (like 10 or 16 if i'm not abused) and then go for it!

So the new response to ranged ragers is not "get a shield", it is "learn to chamber ranged nub!"

Nope. Level 35 is 142 Million exp, or ~16-17 times level 31. If you go to gen 15 before leveling to 35, you'd have to do 142 Million exp in the time the other dude who never retired has to do 20 Million. You are never going to catch up.

all this without taking the XP bonus in account. i get 7250xp with x5 so... it's little bit faster. roughly 50%.

but there is a big difference in playing with a 21/18 level 30-31 build or a:

or even a:

(click to show/hide)

then you can just run in paesant gear onehitting stuff with your shortened scythe and farm gold for heirlooms.

I'm pretty sure that you need 180 mln exp. to reach level 35.

That's possible, the infinitum calculater says it's 142 278 448, though. I've never made it past 31, so i don't really know.

Anyway, the point is: if you wanna go high level, don't ever retire.

Don't ever go for that kind of build. With the agi average and the usual combat pattern these days, you'll be either backpedalled or circled in no time. Even with peasant gear, 1 ath is slow as hell.
