maybe you could cut out the arena we used and make this as a map, then it would be alot smaller and less lagging.
could you test that out?

Great game  :D, But I have 2 questions
1- I wonder, if everyone was experiencing lags?
2- Why at map was rain ? In cloudy weather xbow damage decreases, and was allmost useless.

1. Yes we were all having lagspikes, and considering the server was different this time the problem is definetly the gamemode and not the server.
2. There was no rain

still think you should try with the map edit.
i heard the shogu server was tested with 60 people before this and it went smoothly.

The problem is not the map or the server, it's the gamemode. If we use battle or siege there should be no lag.

Errr, we also tested the server with at least 30-40 people and the CTF mode and it didn't lag. The server shouldn't lag, it's the same sort of a machine that runs crpg 1/3 etc.

ok tournament is finished, everybody was extremely organized - thx a lot for that as it made organizing way easier, ctf mode worked very well without dropping people down. i will try to ask our mapmaker to adjust the map (make it smaller) or just design a new smaller one. i think next tournament can be more complicated, with way more participants (probably for smaller teams so more clans can join of with qualifiers set up since begining on 2 days so more clans can participate at times they favor.

of course feel free to come up with any ideas, ty all who attended the tourney.

i know there's an gamemode issue, but the map is huge too, would just be interesting to find out if it helps  :)

Nice tournament, thanks again! Let's all give one awesome point to Beauchamp for the organisation!
I've seen really strong Risen and Hre, great teamwork. You guys showed that you don't need immense individual skills to win a clan tournament, teamwork is essential. (I'm not saying you guys are no skilled...)
I enjoyed our game against the Guards, where I killed 6 on the 7 guys of the opposing team. (No skill, just ks... :twisted:)
Like Quetzal said earlier, sorry for Scotty's streaking -But he can't be controlled- and for our team composition problems, I'm thankfull that we could participate.

I personally had hard lags spikes, but that is due to my connexion, so no problemo. Maybe people use the lag excuse to justify their bad performance? :?

NB: Did anyone film the matches? :P
