You're an educated man (so i hear), you should've figured it out by now - the answer is: never. They don't care.  It's not happening, even if 90 out of 100 people on battle servers end up shooting from the roofs (and some voices in my head keep telling me that's exactly what's gonna happen soon).

Seriously, that ladders are still in battle mode is a living testimony of the incompetence of the developers. If you can't be arsed to play your own game, then listen to the people who do, the community.

I am only asking because a while ago one of the admins/devs (don't remember) stated that they were going to do it in the latest patch. Of course, being a cRPG veteran, i didn't actually expect them to do it, one can only wish.

When they stand on the ground, they aren't immune to everyone except other ranged. That's the point.

We are conditioning people into roof camping to then give everyone else a weapon to insta kill those people 


And i remember making an unofficial poll on the kind of removal but that was back when i thought it would be necessary to know what stuff should stay in which game mode.
