Yes, what the hell is going on.

As far as I can tell from the forum messages, the story is this:

A clan attacked somewhere
Devs showed up with magic carpets and wiped them out for no reason
Devs are total dicks
Devs cheated for no reason in their own mod
Mod on its last legs
Asshattery everywhere
We've all been wasting our time playing strategus

What did I miss?
Crush your enemies; see them driven before you; hear the lamentations of their women.

Someone want to fill the uninformed peasants on what Fallen did wrong?

Abusing a game feature... while clearly not trying to hide about it...  8-)

Too bad I missed that invasion...

A lot of people in the NA community know that Dach rages and in the process of his uncontrollable rage, he tends to kick people.

Fallen attacked their own fief to lock it down for 24 hours and give them time to reinforce/delay the invading Hospitallers. Harsh insults were thrown about on both sides, until Loki said openly that it was done to lock down the fief, and that the Devs should have fixed it if they didn't want it happening. Shortly after, the Dark Forces appeared.

So now the onus is on the devs to do this every time someone tries to falsely lock down a village.

If they don't attack every single time with a magical flying carpet, then they are being unfair.  Even if the battle is at 5am on a Tuesday, they must log in and attack with a flying carpet in order to ensure that justice is distributed fairly.

Long story short, this was not a particularly good way to conjure up rules and enforce them.

Blow it out the left side of your arse you humourless nincompoop.

This game... oh I mean completely free mod developed with what ever spare time is/was available to the devs is a work in progress.

At least they have a sense of humour, this is both a punishment and a slow clap at the brilliant douche baggery of the fallen. Its fare better that they had the back of the hand slapped for finding this floor and exploiting it.

Just chill Winston, chill.

OP video gave me a hard on, and not because I hate the Fallen, I actually enjoy playing with the Fallen (given that they don't camp a roof the whole round). I just like to see the devs handle things with innovative, ridiculous means. And its a plus seeing the Fallen actually put up a fight against those monsters. Also, the video was tastefully done and the whole situation had a poetic feel to it.
