New textures for nodachi/katana/wakizashi. Please vote

Looking good. But, there are two questions; are you planing this version of Nodachi to be separate from existing one, or fully replace it? And, if it's going to replace existing texture - why there is a Oda clan sigil on a scabbard?

1.)  Yes, because the cRPG item team told us that if we can find/make new textrues for katana/nodachi, they will replace it. So we gave it a try

2.) Why not ? It looks good in my opinion. It's a pretty common and recognizable sigil  and one of the most famous samurai clans in  history.

Maybe a separate ninja weapon (even if, arguably, only from the 80-90s movies ) ? We could try asking the IRC item team together  .

No, it isn't. Katana is traditionally a samurai weapon. Ninjas used smaller weapons usually due the being assassins. The weapon in korgoth's post is seen as the "ninja sword" usually (not that there was any standard.)

As far as i know that's a Tanto, not a "ninja sword". It's again another samurai weapon, one made to pierce. The katanas you know nowdays combine that sword's piercing abilities with another japanse curved sword (looks like a more curved katana) that was made for cutting only. 15th century or so a blacksmith made the katanas, a mix of those two earlier swords, that combined the best of both. Ninjas don't have specific weaponry as they weren't soldiers, they were spies and assassins. You could find them using anything you'd find in Japan/China on those earlier eras, which included samurai weaponry.
