Oh now you added studded leather over mail to your list. When we continue this long enough I think there is going to be over half of the mid tier armor in the list you mention to be the best . How about light kuyak next? It is a lot cheaper than heavy one and it only has 2 less overall armor + it is lighter. Sure I would use that myself if it wasn't for looks...

Light Kuyak, Studded leather over mail, mamluke mail, banded armor, cuir bouilli brigandine, heavy kuyak and Sarranid Guard armor are all pretty much just as good.

I did, but i never give up the fight. Not a pussy like u guys, wearing the "top" armors and saying it is not about the stats.

I rather use 9.5weight red tunic over mail which is almost same as heraldic in stats, only -2 body -3 weight and 2.5k cheaper.
