imo, you totally miss the point. add magic to cRPG and it wont be cRPG anymore. sorry but im just honest.

Yes there is. Yes it is. It's already a part of cRPG from day 1, it's called archers. They are accurate above all laws of physics & common sense, thus its magic. It's the most important connection between all those other rpg games mentioned earlier (the ones filled with magic) and this. Make archery as it should be (quite deadly but very inaccurate) and you've removed one of the greatest magic components of cRPG and that's never gonna happen since devs (like all of us) spent most of their gaming years playing games filled with magic and they have a certain amount of nostalgia for it.

I'm not saying cRPG is 100% realistic as it should be but it should thrive to get as close as the engine allows, there are many things you can't change but this magic archery certainly isn't one of them, give me Fasader, one hour of time & the Blessing of Donkey and I'll show you how it's balanced properly, magical stuff will be decreased to a minimum and many problems will be solved.

I noticed the lack of magic with the recent patch and I am disappoint, clearly the people have spoken in favor of my idea and I anticipate the next update to fulfill all my dreams. Near 60 Percent in favor is a landslide in any democratic society and +26 up-vote for my post on top of that.

The references of feats and attributes from D&D are epic win.

If there be mages, I demand there be clerics, as well! And they should function like how the archers/xbowers are balanced.

Arcane casters: larger wpf penalty from armors, faster fire rate and different types of damage.
Divine casters: less wpf penalty from armors but much inefficient on casting in battle.

Now leave me alone to fantasize more of this stuff!
