Why not have the sheath act as a shield with low hp etc.

And when it breaks, you aren't allowed to sheath that weapon. So a 1h without sheath would have to be dropped if another weapon is picked up.

This was possible since the first Mount and Blade. You create a new shield, make it reference the scimitar model instead of a shield, and as default it shows the weapon like that, coming through the arm. If you manage to get the 2nd weapon to be held like an actual weapon, I'll be impressed.

Can't remember what was the mod (might be damocles) that had done this correctly already in the first M&B.
The weapon as shield had very tiny wide but it was almoust unbreakable as shield.

What Tomas is saying is very true. It is one of the first things I ever tried with the module system, you can do it with Morgh`s as well. It is really simple.
