There is literally nothing you can do at medium speed that will reliably let you hit somebody who is focused on blocking. The animations are just too slow.

The matches in battle must take hours if everyone has that mentality.

It's better to let the other guy do the dancing and feinting. That makes him more likely to make a mistake. So long as you are careful, you can just block everything your opponent throws at you (feints aren't terribly effective at medium speed), and you can use the inevitable mistakes people make when playing risky to wear him down over time.

Yes... But duels are for training also amrite? In battle you need to chop through people fast in order to be effective, which means that knowing good feints and footwork is essential since otherwise you'd get stuck on the good guys.

My 1h alt is really good with that defensive style though I admit.

Im not impressed with the skill level on na, i rly do not hope that is some of your best players. And yeah ur playing styles is very simple, block and hit and a little bit of footwork, but not much. U dont rly do any tricks :/.

To be honest, you're not that impressive yourself. Also if you want to see tricks, go watch fancy equestrian sports with epic trotting and some lean galloping! That's the shit. 

And you mostly try fail to copy Phyrex anyway, occasionally I see some of my signature moves thrown in there as well.

Not a bad thing.. Phyrex himself said that copying is the best thing you can do at first. Stealing the good tricks for everyone and making it into your own style in the end is what you should do.

Also, GTX isn't a new player. You'd think by now he'd have his own style. (own style lol.. copyrighting fighting patterns in Warband )

I never said it was^^ I can agree that copying the basic stuff is a good idea, but when I see the same specialised tricks being used (well, executed poorly) again and again, I have a hard time imagining how all those players can be getting better faster...

Besides, I'd argue that (almost) all good players have their own, distinguished style. It's part of what makes warband awesome imho.

Dude ur human, not a bot. U will fail at some point, and if ur focused at blocking, the feinter shouldent rly have many problems blocking ur poor offensive attacks.
