I really yearn for something like this.

Its even to the point where sometimes Ive started to rush attacker spawn as defender in siege.

I dont even mind losing the flag when im at the spawn fighting cos im having fun and not sitting on my ass waiting to get ganked by 20 attackers while mentally raging at all the other defenders who arent sitting there being bored with me!

I like siege and I like battle. I might even get to like capture the flag but I always enjoyed playing TDM on native too.

Battle is for serious teamwork/play. Siege also requires some teamwork - potentially more so depending on what clans are playing, but as a whole is less likely to step up to the plate than the battle community.

TDM is where a lot of ppl would go just to relax and have fun and just concentrate on fighting, nothing else. Tactics can still be used and employed but this time people wouldnt be so afraid to die, having to spectate the rest of the round.

I really cant see a downside.

I suggest perhaps making eu5 a TDM server (hopefully that wont annoy people too much). I know it's the only eu siege server with no clan balance but I think most ppl who play on it would enjoy the TDM server (if not pls speak up!)

Now that we have Rageball (awesome mode) we need this all the more. So everyone playing Rageball while only attacking people without caring about the ball can go to TDM.

An idea.

Round Time Limit: 7:00 min (as usual)
Kill Count: 50-100 (then a new round or map change is in order, this is to stop leechers)
Min Players: 8

The thing I can't stress enough is to have rounds like in Battle. After the round it would act just like a new round in Battle, or even change maps. This would stop the leeching for the most part.

Any other Ideas would be perfectly fine +)

well yeah, this is how it works by default in Native. Though dependent on the player Number 50-100 Kill is too low. It would be perfect if the count would automatically adapt in steps according to player number though its not really necessary. Really depents on how many and how constant players would play this, then fiddle with the numbers.

About leechers its the same as in the other modes, admins are the best solution, players watching, using polls and reporting or calling admins second best.

Well personally I dont see anything wrong with fighting whenever you want in Rageball. It can be quite effective in clearing goals for periods of time.

Some people dont like it, but if you're attacked by someone, those same guys that apparently dont like it will try and gank you.

Off topic but there's really nothing else I can say regarding TDM, i think i would be a hit.

well, things have settled in rageball I think. Back when I posted there were several people fighting and consitently ignoring the ball, even if it was lying next to them 2 metres away from the goal.

and probably the main reason why I posted that was a reason to bump this shit!  :D

Battle = Die, wait 5 min (alt-tab, surf forums/music/funny cat pictures).
Siege = I can respawn and play but with castles. (Castles are pretty cool)  8-)

Team Deathmatch/Variation = So wait...I can respawn and fight...without castles...sounds interesting!

It's like battle... But I want to play the game!  :D

Battle = attention, focus, alarm, heartbeat, duel, mass fight, pure fun
Siege = spawn, run, fight, die, spawn, run, run, fight, d...
TDM = pure chaos, fight non-stop, in no way like battle

So each team has 500 lives and they constantly kill each other until the 500 lives went to 0? Then one of the team will get x2 lol? It will take quite a long time :P, but it will be quite interesting. The thing is that they will need to decide when will a team win when they have kill a amoun of people. Let say 100, but 100 lives is a bit short so i duno. Good idea anyway.

I played it, but its very tiring as you have to fight non-stop, if you stop then admins will consider you as a leecher :P
