I'm looking forward to masterworking my cleaver (still 2 gens away), and not even for the damage. Just give me that lightning fast 99 speed! Oh yeah!

I heirloomd my sword to masterwork for 1+ dmg 1+ speed. And I'd say it's worth it.

Masterwork cleaver is only 98 speed, but that's better than 96 eh?  About the espada eslavona, that's a lot of pierce damage, more than some 2h swords.  Its just too bad the 1h thrust animation sucks.

103 length, 100 speed, 33 cut, 32 pierce 1h weapon worth it? Hard one, hard one...

Are you really bitching?

I masterworked my War Spear and lost stats...

32-33p on thrust
22-21b on swing

98-97 speed.

Stuff like that happens because modifiers change by a percentive(+10% balanced, +14% masterwork for 1hand sword) at the moment. In the future we will have more modifier groups to balance a bit better or we will hopefully get the possibility to do mixed modifiers (percentive+fixed increase). The latter is not possible at the moment because of lazy chadz - the first because of lazy me+Fasader.

nah, it's because espada thingy was sword_high which has worse percentages.

(this particular problem, at least. We're still lazy scum.)

Hmm, I see I read the heirloom thread wrong. I consider 98 to be just above the "too slow" cutoff line. Good enough for me.

heirlooms need buffing since it takes so much more work post patch to heirloom. Lvl 31 is like 8 million xp, but pre patch you you only needed lvl 15 and the heirloom were better.

At higher gens the trip from 30-31 isn't too bad. Hell, I am gen 2 and I just hit 31 and retired to gen 3 after spending maybe 6 hours as level 30. 6 hours isn't too much of an investment in my opinion, thats like 2-3 solid play sessions for me.
