Is this really masterworked?

Okay, I just found out that masterworking my Espada Eslavona doesn't seem worth it. This comes majorly from the fact that at masterwork it only ends up with +3 cut +4 pierce +2 speed. What happened to my +4 +4 +2? Shoulda I complete this heirloom or just sit on it till a hopeful fix and heirloom something else?

So it's total stats in the end are

Balanced Espada Eslavona
weight - 1
requirement - 10
spd rtng - 101
weapon length - 90
swing damage - 29, cut
thrust damage - 32 pierce

Masterwork Espada Eslavona
weight - 1
requirement - 10
spd rtng - 102
weapon length - 90
swing damage - 29, cut
thrust damage - 33 pierce
I wear armor to protect myself from team mates.

That's right I am the beast master. Now, prepare to be tamed bitches!

As far as I am aware all masterworks were nerfed significantly in the last patch. Mine definitely took a heavy blow.

It's absolutely not worth heirlooming for 1 extra damage.

Extra +1 speed ? It's worth it, as long as he use it.

If it's ALL he uses (a la Walt's awlpike), I can see that. Personally, I don't think +1 dam/speed is worth the ugly grind to 31 all over again.

I think all swords have this problem, not worth getting them past Balanced atm.

Tell me about it I was about to heirloom my daodao for the 3rd time and it would be +5 damage/+2 speed total, but the masterwork is +1/+1 of that.  So i heirloomed my great long axe for +.5 weight, +3 cut damage, +1 blunt damage.  I think chadz just hasnt gotten around to rebalancing the heirlooms, because the swords are the worst for it, should only heirlooom twice as masterwork not worth it and the benefits are lesss then other weapons.  My axe with 1 heirloom gets over half the damage bonus that the sword gets in 3 and gets more wight so less likely to get block stunned by heavier weapon and to block stun lighter weapons.

Stuff like that happens because modifiers change by a percentive(+10% balanced, +14% masterwork for 1hand sword) at the moment. In the future we will have more modifier groups to balance a bit better or we will hopefully get the possibility to do mixed modifiers (percentive+fixed increase). The latter is not possible at the moment because of lazy chadz - the first because of lazy me+Fasader.
