the cataphract

In this post: 
we discussed what could be done to give the cataphract a better relation to the other horses as it isnt worth the price difference to the large warhorse.
here the stats:

Cataphract Horse
hit points: 120
body armor: 47
difficulty: 5
speed: 38
maneuver: 40
charge: 38

lactose  gives some numbers:

I looked up the horse stats and this is what I have to say
....
With the largewarhorse you gain more HP, armor and only lose 1 speed for a difference oh price of less then 2k! (compared to warhorse)
....
For me speed and manoeuver are more important values then the rest but Imho the gain of armor and hp compensates more then enough losing 1 speed point
now lets compare LW and cata
....
cata wins 4 body armor and 2 charge points. but it looses 2 speed 1 manoeuver 10 hit points and costs about 9.5k more
large warhorse wins.

this is not yet the final balance thread,  just one to evaluate what the player base thinks.  pls be honest and dont troll.

option 3 is imh the nicest one,  as it would not be a linear change from horses going from lighter/faster/agile to heavier/slower/less agile,

but actually giving the cata a unique place within the horses range,  being an armored maneuver-heavy horse.  the price would be justified aswell.

I vote more armor, due to the good armor plus all the stacking, it was amazingly well armored, and should reflect that since the horse it is being compared to has mail and padded.

Maneuver +2 to make it 42.

It´s a Steppe Horse with armor, that should be resembled(Originally it was named Steppe Charger, at least the model).Also, a more maneuverable horse with armor would add diversity and make it useful again.

you people just dont get it. this topic is not about buffing horses randomly
this is about internal balance cav issues
if you read op and other topic about cata horse we show how cata horses are weaker ( stat wise) then any other armored horse

and ylca if torben didnt put a "no, dont buff" option, its to avoid random cav haters to just come in vote no and quit without reading anything. this poll is only for the aware people.

I think its just the nighttime cycle that needs to get removed that would balance out the Catahract an make it the fine pony it once was.

I get that you want to level cata with other heavy horse but some people might think it s fine the way it is.
