...I'm not gonna go around banning people for during a Strat Battle, a random bullshit thing that people will do in any map they can...

But isn't that exactly what an admin is supposed to do in a strat battle? If you're not there to prevent exploiting (which this was) and griefing what are you there to do? Hell, it would have been better of you to at least tell your team to stop, but instead you encouraged their behavior. I thought admins were supposed to set examples of good conduct and civility, not demonstrate how the rules mean nothing when you know the right people.

I don't think you can really make an argument that smoothrich should have banned ~20-30% of the roster. Its the same logic when the cops bust a house party. They just tell everyone to leave, the don't start arresting everyone under 21 that is there.

Which would be understandable, if that's what Smooth did. Instead he encouraged them, which is equivalent to cops at a house party getting wasted and trying to hook up with co-eds.

I don't really care about the battle, I don't really care about FCC and HP and strat. What I do care about is how your personal feud with Kesh has led to abuse of power. You say he's a multiaccounter, but where's solid evidence? Even if he is, it's not your place to go and ban him for it, the dev team has handled all previous multiaccount bans on their own. The only solid evidence provided thus far has been from Kesh, and it shows that you banned him on speculation.

Just saying, but when I was banned for multiaccount/account-sharing with FIDLGB, I got banned by Meow because they had logged Rhalzo's IP logging into our strat accounts because we were lazy/busy. NA admins didn't even touch the shit. Policy isn't to ban somebody because they were a "known multiaccounter".

Sucks for Kesh, and the whole thing is fucked up from the core, but at least it's funny in a "LOL HE GOT BANNED" way. Way to show him who's

Yeah, a poll based on forum accounts has a suspiciously high new influx of downvotes after banning someone for using multiple cRPG, Strategus, and Forum accounts from one computer.  Democracy at work.

Either you can troll like you're used to or you can be an admin. Not both, you can't handle the responsibility of being an admin while trolling.

EDIT: Also, the poll doesn't make sense. Smoothrich can change the options so at to make it look like the "no" votes turn into "yes" votes and vice-versa. He's done it a couple of times to confuse the votes and make it appear as if more people prefer him as admin than the opposite.

It's true... because I voted No (bottom line) a long time ago, and tried to change it to Yes (top line) a while back, cuz my perception had changed. Luckily though, I am glad I hadn't changed it cuz he's imploding now, and I'm quite confident the truth will be leaked soon.

If I were an admin who felt burdened by everyone's desire to see common glitches addressed during strat battles (no matter my rational for feeling that way, "everyone exploits them", "it can't be enforced", whatever) then I would... well, not want to keep being an admin.

Admins generally stick by admins... Kind of like the blue line of law enforcement. Christopher Dorner crossed that like, whether it was honest or not, and got kicked off the force. The brotherhood, blue line, admin line... is what matters to most people. Most everyone wouldn't cross it. I understand you are in the same clan as him and wish to stand by his side, even if the odds look weary. That's a friend if I've ever seen one. Time will tell, whether honest or not.
