this is one of my first, if not first, post on here, so please be kind

Anyways, i have read a lot about the patch and gameplay afterwards, so i decided to put up something small also, as my two cents.

I started playing C-RPG and M&B in general like one month ago and i loved it, i got myself third generation char with 2h spec, running around in heraldic mail with balanced tears, was fun, altho i am having issues with manual blocking untill now, but, working on it Going to battles, trying to survive first few battles as close to them but as save as possible. Getting 5 in PS so i was actually able to slash someone in two or crack a shield with hammer felt so damn good. I was "powerleveling" my last character to 30 so i could enjoy the fun of 6 athletics and loads of WPF, but, then the patch came...

I logged in on the website to find out my transferred wpf are gone, my lvls are gone and that i will have to pay upkeep now I went to the game, as i had set gear for my top tier on the website, first two rounds costed me 4800 + 4900 on repairs, i had like 8k total by then, i had to play few more hours to make up for the loss (as i am usually on the losing side ) I was more frustrated than thrilled, and was thinking to even quit, but then few friends came online, we went into battle in leather armor and we had loads of fun getting down horses and stuff. In one afternoon after 0.200 i made round 30k gold, i can wear two good weapons and almost my best armor (xcept gothic plate, even tho i wear that on ocassions, repair now costs 1200 or something instead of 4800, so affordable pretty good ).

As always, there are people that are having issues adapting to changes, those are the one that whine on the forums. I have been thru a lot of patches in a lot of games, which changed them quite hard, but me and my friends just got over, as we will get over this.

Just give the guys like week or two to do the tweaking and i believe it will be as enjoyable for all of you as it used to be till now, even tho, i dont get it, as i am having fun even now (makes me sad when my friends are on winning team and i am losing, you can hear the happiness in their voice on TS, and you are getting angry of no xp/gold:D )

So, have fun playing, get some friends to try the game out (as fresh starts is always good after some major changes, the new people get adapted pretty well ) and thanks for making this even more enjoyable, now we actually have to think what gear to use to maintain positive balance and work as team to bring down plated horse as a bunch of leather wearing people )

And if you want to bitch about something, give it some time untill its tweaked.

A drawn out anti-delayer rant, for a change:

In the vast majority of cases those that are left on their own fighting 20 other people and yet still keep running away, stand on a roof, or hide in the bushes somewhere are stupid fucking bundle of stickss who accomplish literally nothing but waste time, even if that time is only 2 or 3 minutes. If you are in that position it's probably because you were useless to your team when it really mattered. When the server has 60 vs 60, that is 59 people on your team waiting for your dumb ass to die. In total 177 "manpower" minutes minutes wasted. Don't get me wrong, there are occasionally heroes who win it for their team, but it's rare. If you want tactics and organization, set it up at the start of the round. When your team are all dead and you're being rushed by half the enemy team is a little too late, and being in that situation in the first place means ,again, that you were fucking useless. No one should have to wait for you to set up some so called "tactics" by yourself that at most will net you a few more kills, and do nothing for your team.
In short, fuck delayers, go play a single player game. This is a team game, it's not Thief online version. Your rant is particularly ironic in that you praise teamwork and last stand delayers at the same time. Diametrically opposed.

PS: Savage 2 was fucking great but Savage 2 was also a resource game with economic objectives (mines, bases, upgraded units/buildings). You can't really compare it to a cRPG round. It's like comparing Starcraft to Myth TFL.

What is Knights Templar
We represent the christian military orders during the 1119–1314 period, however focusing in the western european Knights Templar.
We train and fight in the name of god (Armagan) and aim to reclaim the holy lands.

What do we do
We fight together as sword brothers, train to work together and above all else we want to have fun. Take nothing too seriously and enjoy cRPG and Strategus.

Grand Master – The Leader of the Knights Templar. He leads all Templars of Calradia towards the ultimate goal of purging all heresy for the world.  He is both a formidable warrior, renown for his abilities, as well as a true monk, willing to give his life in devotion to Armagan.

The Pope – Elected by Armagan and guided by chadz himself.  The current pope is Pope Bredeus. He is the figure head of chadzianity across Calradia and beyond, all true Holy warriors answer to him alone. This rank may be held by one person only.  The pope holds supreme power over the clan, his will is final.  He passes judgement on all important matters and his will is enforced by the council.

Templar Council Member – Elected by Vote of the Order.  The council deals with the day to day management of the clan, they enforce the will of the pope and ensure that the order functions coherently. They decide policy both domestic and foreign and make the decisions which control the clan as well as being in charge of strategus. The work of the council is varied and they are key to the running of the clan. Council member positions are based on activity and attitude more than skill.  The council is a tight knit unit and work together to better the clan.

Cardinal – Nominated by the Pope and Chosen by the Council.  Cardinals assist the Pope, whether helping to run events or fighting alongside him in battle, and they will fight to the best of their ability to defend their faith.

Papal Guard – Nominated by a Cardinal and Chosen by the Pope.  These are some of the finest warriors in the order.  They will fight and die to ensure the security of the Pope and the Cardinals.

Templar Lord - Elected by The Grand Master, Templar lords control lands within Calradia, generating wealth for the order through the taxes they place. In wartime, the Templar Lords are commanded by the Council, and each of the Lords employs other members of the order when not at war. Templar Lords are expected to carry out and enforce the will of Pope Bredeus and the Order of the council.  Any Templar Knight looking to gain this rank should inquire first to the council

Templar Knight – Ranked up by the council. Templar Knights are to set examples of the clan far and wide and represent the Templars in a positive manner, they tend to be respected warriors both in and out of the clan who have gained renown by fighting with honor and valor. The Templar Knights are the core of the clan and are most often found conversing in teamspeak.

Templar Sergeant - Ranked up by the council. Templar Sergeants have fought valiantly and show that they truly understand the weapons of a crusader.  These men show great potential and will often become squired to knights.

Templar Man at Arms – Ranked up by the council. Templar Man at Arms are the first full level of the clan.  They will be accepted into the Strategus clan once proving their ability and loyalty in game.

Templar Initiate – Ranked up by Pope Bredeus, The Grand Master or Council members. Once your application to the clan has been accepted you will be given this rank, you will be expected to wear Templar_ tags in game and use our banner.  To progress from this rank you must be active on Team speak and adhere to the Templar Code.

Like everyone else, we're playing for fun too. So if you find the background of Templars written here innaccurate and just intolerable, PM me about it. But dont expect too drastical changes, we're not historians trying to re-enact history. the M&B is a game, in a virtual world with factions like Swadia which might resemble actual historical factions but still quite arent the same.
