Me and a few clan mates actually tested it once in cRPG the positional audio actually worked and it was quite epic being able to yell at who we came in to range with.

If this was implemented it would be awesome to the extreme.

Edit: Finally having the ability to say and yell my awesome battlecries at the enemy would give the field a whole new level of awesome.

I'm pretty sure I would just be humming while I kill people or something on CRPG tho...

Some of us actually value and strive to work as a team with others outside our clans.  Voice comms allow this to happen alot easier.

yes because the thousands of other games that play games with built in VOIP must be wrong.  Again, if you dont like it dont join the mumble server.

Decent idea.

For the people saying it'd be terrible (class whining/ death raging/ etc): Not if it actually had admins and the admins actually removed troublemakers instead of politely asking them to please be nice 20 times like they do on the servers.

For the people saying they have a clan server: That's great, no one would force one to move, however it'd be a decent way to get the community interacting more. With point number one it'd be interesting to see a large amount of cross clan communication and do a great deal to stop this ridiculous "my tribe is better than your tribe" foolishness so persistent in this game.

Give a few moderators who are mature the power to actually moderate and the mumble would probably be a hotspot within the first week as the people who couldn't handle themselves in polite company would quickly show themselves and be banned and all that would be left would be the people who enjoy teamwork/ interesting deatchats.

I was just thinking how it would be cool if everyone was in one channel, instead of split by teams. Then you can smack talk the guy you're fighting.. aw yeahhh
