The new earlier active attacks against players

So the last patch made your attacks get active earlier. What this means is that you will now hit objects and players not only at a small arc in front of you, but also at the very beginning or the very end of your attacks.

This causes a lot of teamhitting and hitting the wrong enemy and glancing.

Now I wonder what you guys think of this change. Do you like how people have to watch their swings now? Do you like the advantages that shorter weapons get now? Or do you hate the amount of teamhits and teamkilling?

My personal opinion:
Earlier active attacks on objects, I'm all for that. I hate the earlier active attacks against players. The game has become pretty random and unpredictable now. Your swing arcs are huge, you can't count on your attacks going through.

I see people spamming in gank situations and surviving for a really long time, cause the other team just cant hit him, with all the attacks getting stuck on teammates.

It kinda broke the skill in this game, it generally became more random. Good players always did good before, but now their teammates get them killed. I am starting to avoid my teammates, cause the teamhitting is really bad. Thought this game was about teamwork.

I haven't had any game breaking problems. A few times my polearm got caught on a wall or another player and rightfully so since they were in fact in the way of the weapon. You can no longer swing like mad with a huge weapon in close quarters. I think that makes perfect sense.

Well I hated it when I was making money with the 70 length mace and I hate it as a 1h now. It really affects any length weapon.

I think it is good, you will just have to learn how to attack around teammates, ganking one single enemy with 5+ teammates was never a good idea anyways. Also i hated when weapons went through walls but it doesnt seem to happen now.

I like it, as it will slowly stamp out the gank mentality and people will realize just how much room you need to fight.
I'm not normal and I don't pretend so, my approach is pretty much a bomb crescendo.
Death is a fun way to pass the time though, several little bullets moving in staccato.
The terror of my reign will live on in infamy, singing when they die like a dead man's symphony.

You regard the playerbase higher than I do. People will never learn, it will be a tk fest forever.

Considering I often play when certain clans are on the battlefield as well as solo veterans, I have the luxury of facing a majority of organized opponents with just a few plebs.

Plebs are plebs though, I don't really care about them as they play to have fun, so fun they have. If they pee in their own pool, it is not my fault nor my problem. Nothing you can do to fix that.

You can not force someone to use and acknowledge a gameplay feature if they do not want to. Just like in fps games where you have the morons who keep forgetting that fireing rockets pointblank or into a melee will harm more then just the target.

         Im a disciplined fighter and i rarely TK  , also i just love when 4-5 people going for me they start swinging like crazy and i dance around them and they slaughter their own team :D

  Also i started to use the walls\obstacles to my advantage versus thoses bigs long clumsy 2hands , and it work well , no more sideswings that goes thru walls and kill me , even overheads are tricky in tight spots :D

i hated it initially cos it made the flamberge seem even more unwieldy

it kinda suits my playstle though as you can make enemies tk each other easier and use them for protection

i still hate whiffing on unseen players behind me tho

Aww, I would really wish that the effect got decreased a little bit. Not as prepatch, not as it is now, but exactly in between. Atleast it would be controllably for me then.
