Higher "tier" 2h Axe?

So i like axes.
Can't really stick with swords for too long and i dislike the thrust poleaxes get.
Now i was wondering if we could get at least one 2h axe that fits somewhere between the Sword of War and the Flamberge?

After some editing i came up with this:

but my modeling skills are rather low and it's just an edit of the current Great Axe so maybe we can get someone to design a sweet one?

to explain it for you i am asking for higher tier 2h axes.
i don't care about the looks but posted an edited model as i fail to create a new one from scratch.

I think that's as close as you get to the fantasy axe in the OP. Dervish axes are the only ones with a double head outside of fiction, AFAIK. Personally I don't think it's appropriate for the game, it's a ceremonial axe, but they do look cool.

but really i don't need a double sided/bladed one i'm perfectly fine with another single bladed axe in the higher tiers.

The lochaber axe is pretty sexy, similar to a berdiche.

2h have the fortune that all their axes are cheap considering their cut damage and having sword animation making them very good for such low prices.

If we get double headed axes, I want horned helmets to match the set, too


Seriously, a "better" 2handed axe would end up as a poleaxe, or imba.

ok so i got bored again and after looming my great long axe i realized i still want a better 2h axes as i hate the poleaxe feeling.

so i got this model: Axe it's not finished but is going to look something like that.

i would pretty much like any input and also would like to make clear that i am not really looking for way better 2h axes but mainly for more diversity as there are craptons of swords

If u look at the first post about adding stuff from the vikingr mod there is a screenshot of a berry nice looking ornate great axe being held looks cool

And I mean adding a high level axe twohand is doubtful to imbalance

All u do is make it only marginally better than a great axe at 11k-ish cost

You'll still end up with 5000000000 bar maces/lawlpikes/sideswords and a billion throwers with one guy using this hypothetical axe

Pay no attention to urlurkur btw anything he sees as a threat to his one handed build is met with scorn(I.e the man is a pure weaponslobbyist with an agenda, has no capacity to actually reason)

You would have to rebalance the whole axe line, though, because if you introduced a new 2h axe with more dmg and less speed than great axe, it would make the sarranid battle axe obsolete.
