Sounds mildly realistic then, just change any armour above transitional to be almost immune to range unless shot from very close and things would be perfect.

Not necessarely talking about plate armor, you can just wear heavy armor with hourglass and have 60-70 body armor that you can maintain indefenitely, and it's even worse when it's triple heirloomed because LOLOLOL GLOVES GIB 16 BODY ARMOR howthefuckdoesthatmakesense.

Padded leather, 27 body armor, add triple heirloomed hourglass gauntlets and you get 43 body armor, how does that make any fucking sense.
