Looks great...I played all the BF games extensively. Mmm BF1942 *Drools*. Still by far the best one with the original Forgotten Hope.

For any one who played BF2. You should try the mod FH2. They recently found out ways to double the server size as well. 120 man servers ftw

As for this, well I hope they added gravity to the game to actually make flying appear realistic. One of the major buggy aspects of BF2.

yep, also wooki suppresion on this game happens when bullets get close to you but don't touch, you're vision gets blurred and you can hardly see ANYTHING, so basically support is accually usefull instead of going around healing my old friends...

Were in for a good time. Played the alpha, and the game feels absolutely great on the PC, which BC2 honestly didnt. If you are afraid its a BC2 clone with jets, then dont worry, this is a real Battlefield game

looks pretty much identical to BFBC2.  I see they havent bothered to upgrade netcode to handle more players.  Sorry but 32v32 isnt epic in any sense of the word.  I'd rather actually save my money and give Planetside 2 a chance instead of cashcow no long term or mod support EA.

Hm yeah, 32v32 is a bit lame... should be 64v64 atleast.

They figured out a way to code the servers so you could get huge servers in BF2, PR and FH2 mods (saw some 200 man ones that were full). Now they know how to do it, they might be able to do the same to BF3 if they haven't increased the sizes. Then of course it's simply a matter of renting servers to handle the load, seeing as the only real problem with those servers was the horrendous lag because they weren't capable of handling the numbers. The way they did it as well didn't breach any terms of use that Battlefield had.

Is there any early access to beta or anything like that for preorders? I don't see Steam having BF3 page yet, isn't BF3 supposed to come out at the end of October?
