it obviously offers better shelter then the old black armor.

the curent one has chainmail on the arms which is big like whole pixels.

if you look on the picture, the new model has a extra plate to protect the front and its vembraces are very protective.

the armour/helm from the warband Sword of Damocles mod look good enough to me

go on page one of this threat, theres a fitting helmet to this armor aswell.

and it is not scrawny, its just perfect fitting like a good plate should be..

that helmet should be upturned, placed on the ground and used as a pisspot by warriors, not worn by them

The armor and helm look way better than the original.

But it would be nice to see more designs for the helm.

This, black armor in SoD would be a good replacement. Looks far less cheezy, but still something for use by those who (think they) are above mere mortals.

The black armour should have been replaced months ago, it has had suitable replacements for a long time, yet we get stuff like turkish diaper hats that were most likely only sought after by the Turkish clans.

 Not pointing fingers here, I think it's great we get more cultures into the game, but how hard is it to replace the black armour when we have already had more than one great black armour to put in its place and people have been asking for it for a very long time.

but they do think that, it's what allows them to take on overwhelming odds and barely get damaged. It's quite fun to wear it, agi builds often just bounce off with their hits.
