now when after patch emotions have setteled i wish to ask community, esspecially horse archers, what changes are there concerning horse archers, and how big are those changes. Is being a horse archer viable option, how much harder it is now then before patch. What about accuracy, dammage etc

No. I forbid it.
Do you honestly think you have any sort of moral authority, Reyiz? Go genocide some more armenians and deny it ever happened, please, and stay in the middle east.

If your question is "Are we still annoying cowards?"

Then your answer is "yes."

"Do we do damage anymore?"
"Yes. Just not to specific builds."

"What kind?"
"Anti-archer builds."

Upkeep is the one major thing that hurts now. With a courser, 3 sets bodkins, Horn bow, steppe armour, nomad boots and leather gloves, my equipment cost is 68000. Bodkins break more, and upkeep is more expensive. This was perfectly viable pre-patch. You'd gain money on anything over a x3. Now I have to sustain a x5 for lengthy rounds (have to last over 3 mins), for a good number of rounds in order to make any kind of money. Most of the time I'm bleeding it with this build. I had 40000 gold at the beginning of this patch. Now I'm down to 15000. That's about 6 hours of crpg gaming (not all of it in battles, some in duel and some in strat).

That equipment build is now nullified. And it's mostly only light equipment. It's the bodkins and horse upkeep that do it.

Otherwise HA is fine. Accuracy, although slightly worse, is still viable. And even damage is acceptable. It's just the damn upkeep. Can't imagine what being heavy cav must be like. HA used to be the cheapest cavalry build though, now I get the feeling it's probably one of the more expensive if you want bodkins and a horse that will survive 2 arrows.

Then your answer is "We are the most honored fighters."

HA is still the cheapest horse build available and very much viable. It's probably the most horse dependant class, meaning when your horse is killed, you are pretty much screwed more than other cav builds.

Nah...worked out it's the bodkins. Arrows get repaired more than anything now. Every round arrows get repaired with 3 stacks. Maybe only 1 stack at a time, but if you have bodkins that's A LOT of money down the drain. Arrow upkeep is daft. Normal arrows are the only viable option now. Probably makes HA the most expensive if they use bodkins.

Not at all, other cavalry classes have to go for better horses else theyll get shot to pieces before they get close. On top of that their items cost more at upkeep.

I can earn gold easily with my horse archer, hes using the tribal armour, 3 stacks of tatar arrows, a tatar bow and a rouncey.
Don't mind the fish.

I can earn gold easily with my horse archer, hes using the tribal armour, 3 stacks of tatar arrows, a tatar bow and a rouncey.

Rouncey = half the cost of courser. Now heirloom that and the bow. Then add on bodkins at 800 gold repair every time. Pretty much every single round has at least 1 repair on arrows. Hence why so many people have switched to normal arrows now rather than bodkins. The repair costs for them are insane due to the high breakability. HA carries 3 stacks for christ sakes. You're bleeding gold with them.

Most dedicated HA will have heirlooms. And most used to use bodkins and better horses. Can't do that anymore and earn gold. I've played with arrows today, not bodkins. Do nowhere near as much damage against armour...hell against better armour it doesn't do ANY damage a lot of the time and that's with an MW Horn Bow. However, I was gaining gold dramatically even on a x2. It's definitely down to arrows that repair costs are so high for HA.

If you put heirloomed items + bodkin cost together. Then it's bad.

Heirloomed items don't increase repair cost.

Bodkin repair cost is ridiculous, though. I don't see why a class that has high end weapon cost of 21k-23k gold should be penalized with added repair chance on top of that. Two-handers max out their weapon cost at 19k gold, polearms at 16k, 1h+shielders at 21k and Crossbowmen at 24k. None of these classes get shafted with an added repair chance on top of this.

You got to pay for the stacks if you want to use them. Welcome to the real cavalry world, where making money isn't possible if you don't play smart.
Don't mind the fish.
